Visit Montana...A New Year's Resolution

2018 Happy New Year, Montana signs hang on the side of a rustic Bozeman barn

This coming year, I resolve to help you make good on your promise to yourself and your family to visit Montana, ‘The Last Best Place.’

I started Montana Treasures two years ago with this very purpose in mind…to get total strangers jazzed about visiting Big Sky Country.

One of the first things I started doing was posting photos and videos on Montana Treasures Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest pages. I showed my fly fishing and hiking adventures in southwest Montana to thousands of people all over the world.

In the photos and videos that I take, I love to show the very perspective I have while standing in the middle of some of the world’s most revered fly fishing rivers, including the Gallatin, the Madison, and the Yellowstone Rivers.

Of course, it’s one thing to have you envy what I am seeing. I also want you to know exactly where I am standing when I make a photo or a video. Perhaps you will want to visit the exact same spot on your own trip to Montana.

So, over the course of this past year, I meticulously created ‘Photo Maps’ and Explore pages of several Montana rivers, Parks, and hiking destinations. Please use them to create your own Montana ‘To Do and See’ list.

Lastly, I run Montana Treasures as a store so that you can purchase something to remind you to either return to Montana or visit it for the first time.

Some people treat the Montana Treasures wall signs as a trophy that they can display in their home or cabin.

Others prefer a small token such as a coffee mug or a baseball cap that will remind them to return to the State soon.

However you want to be reminded to return to Montana, just know that Montana Treasures wants to help in the process. I man all of the Montana Treasures social media channels and the newsletter signup shown below; so, please feel free to sign up, follow, and ask questions.

I look forward to seeing you in Montana soon! :)
